Vineyard: 40 to 60 year old vines in Rovereto, one of Gavi’s oldest and finest vine sites. Guyot training-system. 5.500 vines x Ha. Red ferrous clay over a block of compact limestone. 100% Cortese.
Winemaking: Grapes are handpicked the third week of September and fermented into white wine in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature with ambient yeasts. The wine ages for 6 months on its lees in stainless steel tanks prior to decanting, bottling and release on the market.
