Frozza

Frozza is a tiny family-run estate of eight hectares in the heart of Valdobbiadene, known for producing terroir-infused Prosecco from extremely steep mountainside vineyards. Giovanni Frozza is highly regarded by connoisseurs in the Veneto region as a self-styled, outstanding virtuoso in artisanal Prosecco winemaking; with eight hectares of 25-50-year-old vines, Giovanni and his uncle use traditional methods in both the vineyard and the cellar to produce wines that stand the test of generations. Giovanni still uses indigenous varietals and native yeasts in his winemaking, despite regulations becoming gradually less strict in the region.
